The discussion also explored different types of AI in healthcare—predictive, prescriptive, and generative. Predictive AI helps identify potential health issues, prescriptive AI aids in treatment decisions, and generative AI can create text summaries from patient data. Mayo Clinic, for example, uses a combination of building, buying, and partnering to develop AI tools, emphasizing collaboration with industry partners.
